To all my friends. Thank you so much for all your ongoing support. Things have been difficult lately
but I intend to come back soon. God bless you all.

Philip at the age of 40 passed away suddenly and tragically on Monday 26th May 2008.
The cause of Philips death has not yet been established but there will be no stone left unturned to
find out the truth about what really happened the night he died.

Philip was a fun loving character with a brilliant personality who always liked a good laugh and the
odd practical joke or ten - maybe twenty!
Phil liked any type of music from Pink Floyd to classical- although you'd have been hard pushed for
him to admit that!
Philip loved music quizzes, especially those from the 1980's. He was also fond of chess and enjoyed
playing cards with Alison's son Tommy whom he formed a special bond with.
Football? Well Philip didn't have much taste as he supported Bolton Wanderers! I guess somebody had
to!
He was quite a sport freak and would always be glued to the TV with any sport, in particular boxing
with Bolton lad Amir Khan being one of his favourites.
Philip's cheeky grin and humour lit up any room and one of his favourite comediennes was Katherine
Tate. He loved Max and Paddy along with Little Britain.
Phil sang alot, in fact he'd think nothing of bursting in to song in the middle of the supermarket!
Oh, and not forgetting the air guitar!!!!! Aha!
His best friend and rock was Alison. In a special little memorial box, Alison has kept the hundreds
of beautiful cards and letters Philip sent her over the years.

A few days after Philips death, Walk The Line was established in Philips memory. Walk The Line is an
international resource for children and adults alike who have experienced separation from their
parents and loved ones.
Philip often talked about helping others who had walked in his shoes. He always commented on the
lack of help, support and resources for people like himself who had been institutionalised over the
years and battled with substance misuse problems namely heroin.
What always touched Phils heart was the homeless issue and he often mentioned this particular
subject with sadness.

A special humour publication in Philips memory is to be released at Christmas and it is one that
Phil would highly approve of to say the least!

In particular, Alison would like to thank Rosemary Russell (Marie) for reading a lovely tribute at
Overdale Crematorium. Special thanks also goes to Rob Levett and the kind messages of condolence
from friends, professionals, charities and legal representitives.
A personal thank you goes to Inside Time for their publication of Living WIth A Product Of The
System - One of Philips favourite all time articles written by Alison Henderson herself.

THANK YOU TO LYNN DUXFIELD ( CHARMAINE DUXFIELDS MUM) FOR HER HELP.

You always had a cheeky smile
And always laughed a lot,
I can’t believe you’ve left us
But you'll never be forgot.
You'd always burst in to a song
No matter where you were!
In shops or in the shopping mall
You really didn't care!
Snooker, chess and 80's pop
Trips down to the gym!
Always asking if your legs...
Were constantly too thin!
You loved your funny programmes
Especially Katherine Tate,
And always burst out laughing at
The Trisha Show debate!
We shared some really special times
Some rough ones also too,
But one thing is for certain Phil
I will never forget you. ♥

Youve got a way to keep me on your side.
You give me cause for love that I cant hide.
For you, I know Id even try to turn the tide.
Because youre mine,
I walk the line.
